Agadir, often referred to as the Miami of Morocco is one of the best resorts to enjoy Moroccan and international gastronomy; Italian, Spanish, Mexican, Lebanese, Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese. You can relax on a sunny day in the beachfront from sunrise to sunset or from your hotel with a view of the sea. You can shop in the various bazaars souvenirs, spices, ceramics, silver or gold in the souks or clothes and leather goods in fashionable boutiques where you can find the latest Moroccan and international design imitations of; Versace, Armani, Nina Ricci, Chanel, JP Gaultier, Yves Saint Laurent, Dior, Pepe Jeans and Calvin Klein.

ITINERARY:
DAY 1:
MID-DAY:
Arrive to Agadir and unpack at your hotel.
Next, head down to Agadir’s port for lunch; options include seafood or international cuisine along the boardwalk with a view of the ocean.
After lunch stroll along the port, people watch and visit the action packed fishing market where you can choose from an assortment of fish to have cooked for you on the spot. Next, visit the Valley of the Birds. The Valley of the Birds has pleasant, lush vegetation that draws in birds throughout the year. There is also a waterfall, zoo and aviary that you may want to visit once you’ve tired of the beach.
Another option is to ask your guide to take you eight kilometers from the center of Agadir to see the Kasbah. Located on a hill north of the port, the Kasbah stands on the raised plateau of Ancienne Talborjt and is one of the few relics left behind from the 1960 earthquake that destroyed old Agadir.
For dinner enjoy traditional Moroccan dishes at a Talborjt café restaurant as you watch the sun set over Agadir. After dinner, head back to your hotel or one of the local 5 star deluxe hotels that offer stunning views for an hour of cocktails. Later return back to the hotel to get ready for another day of exploration.
DAY 2:
MORNING:
Enjoy breakfast in one of Agadir’s beachside cafes with views of the beach. The expansive fine sanded area is swept every morning and patrolled by police to ensure the best safety to Agadir’s visitors.
After breakfast, head to the beach and rent a sunbed and umbrella for a morning of swimming. Agadir has a strong Atlantic undertow that is enjoy by travelers pursuing jet skiing, windsurfing or other water sports.

MID-DAY:
Enjoy lunch at one of the international restaurants or have a traditional Moroccan meal in the city center. After lunch continue your day at the beach or choose one of the following options:
v With your Travel Exploration driver, rent a moped and explore Agadir’s wide streets and neat residential suburbs. Drive towards the Jardin de Olhão, a pleasant outdoor garden which was opened in 2003 to celebrate Agadir’s relationship with the town of
v Head to the medina where crafts are made and sold. A bit lively and chaotic, the medina and the souks contained within are best explored on foot. Enter the souks at the gates Rue Chair al Hamra Mohammed Ben Brahim. Inside the enclosed area you can browse the labyrinth of streets and stalls selling fruits, vegetables, jewelry and goods from around the region. If you want to continue shopping, your driver will take you to Agadir’s two other main markets containing stalls selling Moroccan goods and tourist souvenirs.
For dinner, listen to live Moroccan music at Tour de Paris as you feast on a classic Moroccan dinner with pastilla, couscous and tasty tajines with meat, apples, pears or dates. After dinner have desert at Eis Pub. Located in the center of town, the shop has the best ice creams and cakes in Agadir. Enjoy your last night in Agadir relaxing at one of its 5 star deluxe hotels or go to one of the local dance clubs Byblos Disco, know for its great mix of western and Moroccan music.
DAY 3:
MORNING DEPARTURE:
After breakfast departure from your hotel and return to Marrakesh. Your driver will take the road through the inland High Atlas Mountains as you pass driving by old Berber villages and arid landscapes.
